Barn Tips
It's been awhile since I've been on here. But not much has changed besides the weather. For all you horse owners, you know how difficult cold weather can make the barn work. It includes extra time spent on misc. repairs that you find, and extra trips during the day/night to go break water buckets that are iced over. A great investment would be to these 16 gal heated buckets that I found on Amazon for only $79.99. (attachment below). While Yes these will be very helpful in the winter be sure to do safety checks.
1. Make sure your horses cannot get to the cords.
2. Make sure water will not get spilled on the cord/plugs.
3. Make sure your outlets can hold enough volts.
4. Check hay temp. (make sure it's not hot in the middle)
Just a few tips to help avoid barn fires while using great products!
